DESCRIPTION:A repair café is a volunteer-run event where repair coaches help visitors to fix their beloved but broken item and extend its life. Why throw it away when it can be brought back to life with just a little help!? \nLearn new skills\, meet new people and create the habit of repairing and reusing things. \nA monthly event which runs between 10am – 3pm. \nWe are at the Eco Action Hub at Nicholson’s Centre. Repair skills available at the next event include\, amongst others: \n\nsmall electrical items (excludes microwaves and large items)\nIT assistance(e.g. anti-virus\, software updates)\nlaptops/computers\, phone repairs (except screen repairs)\nmending\, textiles repairs\nglass repairs\, book binding\, fixing picture frames\nbasic woodwork\, small furniture items\n\nWe aim to fix anything\, our volunteers love to solve problems! Check out our Facebook and Instagram to find out what we have been fixing. \nPre-book a free ticket by clicking HERE.
