Repair Café – Climate Action Hub Maidenhead

A repair café is a volunteer-run event where repair coaches help visitors to fix their beloved but broken item and extend its life. Why throw it away when it can be brought back to life with just a little help!?

Learn new skills, meet new people and create the habit of repairing and reusing things.

A monthly event which runs between 10am – 3pm.

We are at the Eco Action Hub at Nicholson’s Centre. Repair skills available at the next event include, amongst others:

• small electrical items (excludes microwaves and large items)
• IT assistance(e.g. anti-virus, software updates)
• laptops/computers, phone repairs (except screen repairs)
• mending, textiles repairs
• glass repairs, book binding, fixing picture frames
• basic woodwork, small furniture items

We aim to fix anything, our volunteers love to solve problems! Check out our Facebook and Instagram to find out what we have been fixing.

Pre-book a free ticket by clicking HERE. Tickets will be available until 1pm on the last Thursday prior to the event.

Due to the popularity of the repair café and to provide you with a good experience, we will send you, one day before the event, a confirmation email with suggested time slots to reduce waiting times.
